Enjoying Every Moment

Woke to rain and thunder and lightning, and then a lot more rain. Wonderful, but realised we need to do more to prevent our soil being washed away - heavy rain after months of drought means a lot of good stuff gets washed into the Lake, and our lane is now deeply rutted again. Still, not complaining!

After hours talking round the table, got dressed and went grocery shopping in Reguengos.

Heavy sleeping at nap time, and then the Lula walk, see how the flowers have appeared already!

Gratefuls:
- not much we have to do except enjoy being together
- the smell of Julia's brownies and Mike's bread filling the house
- our trees and "lawn" getting a deep drink and the risk of fire dissipating
