More Bees Today

There were a LOT more bees out in the garden this afternoon than there were yesterday. Nothing like usual...but I felt optimistic anyway. There has been such a lack of critters in the garden over the past few days...so quiet, it's very eerie. The air quality is still 340 which is a far cry from the 500+ recently, but also a long way to go till it's safe to be outdoors. Truly it's driving me crazy to be so stuck indoors. 

But I go out long enough to blip! I had some really lovely photos today and had a hard time choosing. But this Anemone looks like it's crying to me, and that seems most appropriate. I've also uploaded a beautiful Rieger Begonia (which is lovely and not crying) and a photo of the sun that managed to peek through the murk this afternoon. 

Now it looks like there were be a good 1/2" of rain on Thursday night into Friday...fingers crossed...and pray for no lightning!!! Do those rain dances, please!!
