I've been waiting all summer to get a hummer feeding on a flower. I've seen plenty at my feeder, and a few resting in my peach tree, but this is a first of the year flower shot for me. And none too soon, either, since these little ones will be migrating to warmer climes soon. 
This is a female Broad-tailed Hummingbird. She announced herself with a loud buzzing sound before I even spotted her.
