Our 14th wedding anniversary.

In the lakes staying at a friend's cottage.

Brought the dogs with us, poor Charley at 12 can't do so much as he used to, and he wouldn't stop until he did himself an injury. So we decided on a small hill instead of one of the bigger popular peaks.

Well small hills rock. Stunning views, no cloud, interesting routes up, hardly anyone around and back at the pub before anything starts aching.

Pic at the top of place fell, overlooking Ullswater. Highly recommended.
