Nan Bield

Weekend away in the lakes riding with the boys.

A proper epic Saturday ride: parked in trout beck rode over garburn pass, sadgill, gatescarth, a cheeky hop over harter fell, down nan Bield and back via high borrans and dubbs road.

Just got back to the car before dark!

All the elements of lakes riding, hike a bike ups and steep rocky descents on the limit of rideable and sometimes over.

Shattered and achy but a great day.

Then back to the cottage for slow cooked chilli and a few beers.
