The jay in a blizzard

It was quite mild first thing. I went to the gym and the pool and returned via Waitrose but the promised snow came with a vengeance by lunchtime.

It has kept on, and settled, for quite a while, so I don't think I'm going to get a pleasant snowy walk with photo opportunities.

So my birds helped. The jay came down (the first time I've seen him in mid snowstorm) and the tits of various kinds were zooming about too. My white tailed blackbird was another visitor who wasn't too impressed with the conditions.

OK - so it's snowing. Where are my peanuts ?
