Sad farewell

to one of our Village members.Jim,88 had lived in the street where I was born so filled me in with any gaps on who and where people were.
He moved to an area near Newcastle and though he was wheelchair bound he would travel down on the Metro to the Village Coffee mornings.I
He always made me smile especially when he greeted me with
 "Hello Bonny Lass" ( his eyesight was bad ) ;););)
The funeral service was relayed outside. Thankfully it's been a glorious sunny day.
