Perfect for today's walk.We met up at Tynemouth station and walked through the Park.

We headed for Preston Cemetery and the leader pointed out the Headstone of a local artist.Victor Noble Rainbird 1888-1936.

It's very fancy showing the boats on the fish quay.
I asked where the Headstone of another local lad was.
The leader said he had only made enquiries this morning about him and was told he had been cremated with no plaque.
I was really surprised at that because it was a huge Celebrity funeral.

Chas Chandler 1938-1996.was bass guitarist with the original Animals pop group.He later became a record producer and Manager.

The building further along was the original Tynemouth High School.
We went for a coffee close by then caught  the Metro home
I  then sat in the garden and fell asleep. ;);)
