Watering regime

I'm a big fan of these expandable garden hoses.  Despite them never lasting more than a few years, I think they have got stronger and better with each replacement, and the pros far outweigh the cons.

Jess loves water and follows me round the garden snapping at the output which is not at all helpful (but better than attacking the hose itself; our first one broke 9 years ago at the mercy of her sharp puppy teeth).

I'm determined to give the new plants in my garden the best chance to survive so Jess and I are out there as the sun sets sprinkling around...
