Inevitable IKEA

I had no work today so Sam and I took the opportunity to pop to IKEA to pick up a few bits and pieces for Sam's room at university.  Quite how those few bits and pieces turned into 35 items and nearly £150 I can't quite figure out.  Nevertheless I enjoyed a really lovely day with my youngest son and he's worth every penny!

In much sadder news I learned that my dear Uncle Bill died yesterday.  I visited a few weeks ago and he's been very much on my mind since.  He was such a wonderful man and I have lots of precious memories.  I'm desolate for my cousins who lost their Mum in May and now their Dad, what a terrible year it's been.
