Angle Shades II

An Angle Shades moth (Phlogophora meticulosa) resting on the seed heads of a Clematis in our back garden today - the same species whose caterpillar we saw on the fence behind back in April.

Today's 'Extra' shows a Garden Spider Araneus diadematus at the centre of its web nearby.
