Can you tell what it is....? 

Probably not, guaranteed not.  It's two boys inside a carrot harvester.  OF COURSE! 

They made this out of some boxes that I emptied this morning (driving me potty still having things in boxes, I'm on a mission at the moment!) The obvious thing to make (if you are 4 & 5) is a carrot harvester, complete with a seat in the cab (from a cat-food box hastily emptied of the packets of cat food. The eldest went off to find a manual for how to build a carrot harvester and was VERY upset that he couldn't find one.  I'd hazard a guess that there is no manual in the world that will tell you how to build such a thing from some very used cardboard boxes.  

Afternoon spent in the garden - hedge is all trimmed and looking much smarter (and sparser), the boys were fantastic in helping and all in all we've had a really good day.  The husband is away for the weekend, which is always slightly harder work, but also quite nice being a gang of three.

The youngest re-charging a little and having a long lie-in (8.30) - and being straight to sleep this evening
Fussy eater eldest asking for seconds at dinner time, it doesn't happen very often!
