Double measure...
The usual post holiday chores today, washing and shopping.
We took a basket each which is how they’ve asked during restrictions... not to shop together so we don’t linger but keep moving I think. When we met at the til we’d both got satsumas. We kept all 18 of them....
The lovely warm breeze meant the washing was very soon dry, and has already been ironed. Just a small pile really.
We had lunch in the garden making the most of what we’re told will be the last days of summer.
It was great to have FaceTime this morning with Esmée who shared her new tiger story book with us. Hard to believe she will be 20 months this week. The family were going to visit the Norfolk coast this afternoon. The nearest to Cambridge. We have to wait until the end of October before we can see her again for real.
PS Those little plants are looking good after a week! Phew!
