Ruth Bader Ginsburg 1933-2020

I am gutted by the death of a great lady

Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn't be that women are the exception.--

I am also sad to think that her legacy will always be preceded by the inevitable wish, always thought, often stated, that she could have 'hung on' for another three months . She did her job flawlessly, despite overwhelming heroic battles with cancer and should never be remembered as someone who should "hang on" but as someone who worked tirelessly until the day she died to make women's lives 'just right' as she once wrote in the margin of a young clerk's draft.

May she rest in peace. And may her memory not be sullied by an ugly battle over her successor.
