Clean flame

The camera group spent the afternoon photographing candle flames. Our organiser had read up the techniques in a magazine and we experimented with different settings, finding it surprising at the variety of effects. It was difficult to take a picture without a glare around the flame and this was my best effort. It was a fun and sociable afternoon, but will I ever use the skill again I wonder.
