Early morning paddle....

Maisie and I started out our walk in fog very early. Maisie chased dozens of rabbits to start with. We did a longer walk covering seven kms. Here she is enjoying a brief paddle near the end of our walking route. I take a tramping/hiking stick with me as my left hip is annoyingly a little painful. Probably related to a nasty fall I had in the gym last February. Walking helps me keep active. Steve, in car and with mountain bike loaded, headed back to Wellington on the ferry this morning. Niece Deborah called in briefly this afternoon en route home to Christchurch after a night with nephew Andrew and family in Nelson. We’ve been busy.
