Spring Flush.....

It was a lovely spring day here in Marlborough. Maisie and I went walking the Taylor River Tracks mid morning. Here is the view from the Omaka Culverts looking upstream with the mountain, The Ned, in the distance. The willows are showing a spring flush with catkins or tiny leaves on show. I dropped off little “Marcus”, the fluffy tabby I am caring for at present, at the Vet Centre. Although Vet Mary had shaved off a lot of the matting from his tummy the day I picked him up from Brayshaw Park as a stray, he still needed some tidying up of his belly and bottom under sedation. Our Maine Coons are still missing but we are almost sure that they are being held by someone and hopefully we will recover them.
