Another beautiful day

It may be the last Sunday of very good weather for a while, as the Indian summer looks like it may be ending later this week, with cooler weather moving in. We usually walk Xena from home but today wanted to go to another woods that involved a drive, and all the car parks at the woods were so full we struggled to find parking. We eventually parked up and had a lovely walk, all along a woodland path that runs right next to the River Mole, with Xena playing with other dogs she met and then having a very long play with another Vizsla who was the same age as Xena. It was lovely to be out in fine weather, with the woodland paths hard and dry, last time we walked there was in winter when it was so muddy. I also had some fun with my lensbaby lens and this photo is as a result of that.

Back home to collect Tommy as we were going out for Sunday lunch - we sat outside in the large garden/courtyard and it was so lovely to be outside in the sunshine, enjoying the fresh air. Only 2 more weeks until Tommy returns to university to start his his new year there.

Then back home for coffees and a reading of the Sunday papers. A lovely relaxing day!
