Last of the summer?

It was a lovely sunny day again. It’s always sunny around my son’s birthday so I’m not really surprised. I had a lie in before starting on some chores - cleaning, laundry and a water change for the fish tank. We do inally moved it back to its usual position after the work we had done on the wood floor! This afternoon I did some raking and tidying up in the garden and had several cups of tea in the sunshine. This could be the last of the fine weather so I wanted to make the most of it. We took a lovely stroll round the lake before dinner - lots of birds there today including ducks, coots, swans, gulls and the heron. I saw these lovely flowers on the way back. I think I might be brave and take my son out for some more driving practice after dinner!
