Sunflower surprise

Today I discovered a sunflower in bloom in the back garden. I’d forgotten I’d planted one out the back and it’s bloomed very late. I was feeling distracted while waiting for my son to come back from his driving test. He passed which was such a relief: he was so pleased and drove himself into school later. He’s had a good couple of days, we’re very proud of him. I just have to stop myself worrying about him being out and about in his own!

Anyway, another milestone.
