Sleet

This morning I cut and fitted blocks of insulation into the new partition wall. With every day it's looking less like a building site, and more like a bathroom! So satisfying to see it taking shape.

This afternoon I sat in the sitting room, watching the sleet slide down the roof windows, knitting a sock and listening to the radio. Not a lot else you can do in weather like this!

The police closed the Churchill Barriers for a couple of hours this afternoon because of the gales and atrocious weather. Hope they are are open tomorrow, it's the last aqua zumba class of the term and we're going for lunch afterwards!
