The Last Day of Summer

It is a sad day
when you must admit that the
summer is over.

We've been given a reprieve. Following our wet days, the skies are brighter and we see far less smoke as in the past week. I'll take it!

I have a list to check off today. There will be lots of running around. Then I'd like to make a big pot of chicken corn chowder. I'll see if I get that far!
