Scene

The bracken is browning and the birch trees are dropping leaves already, but it's still a mostly green scene down in the woods. This is where I found a woodpecker nesting earlier in the year.

It was another beautiful day although I didn't see too much of it working from home. I got out for about an hour. There were a smattering of Speckled Wood and Small White butterflies but not as many as I'd thought given the sunshine.
