Another of the street art stencils of Bradford characters that appeared in the city some months ago.

I shared the story of Geoffrey Brindley, the Bradford Monk, on these pages nine years ago, so for today I’ll just remark that it is nice to have this reminder of his presence in the city, particularly since his death a few back.

I’d been into Leeds for work but detoured back home through Bradford to take in some some football at Valley Parade. In the much derided EFL Trophy, Bradford City went down 3-0 to a Manchester United U21 team. With perhaps some stars of the future on show - United’s #73 Zidane Iqral caught the eye.
