Chillin'

Friend E and her daughter visited today. We took a walk up the valley, in the heat. Fortunately I had warned them about these sculptures, because they said that otherwise they'd have been startled by them. What a walk! We could see Wales, but it was hazy.

In the evening I received some had news. Our mother's husband has had a stroke and is in hospital. He is in his 80s. Mother sounds ok. It was she who called the ambulance. He can only have one visitor in hospital, so his son is visiting daily.

So many phone calls, so much to think about
