Old friends

We explored the grounds of our holiday venue this morning and got rather lost. The sign posting is really bad and we kept losing our bearings, but the gardens are really lovely. It was quite sunny in the morning, but the weather has deteriorated as the day went on. Well, it was forecast.
We went to lunch with friends T and M who live about 20 miles from here. T and Normous were in the church youth club together so they go back a very long way and it is good to catch up in person rather than emails and phone calls. They are brilliant hosts and we had a delicious three course lunch. A bonus of the visit was that we were able to cuddle Coco’s sister. She is a grey Burmese, not brown, but otherwise just like our dear Coco.
