Socialising
What a great holiday day.
In the morning I walked from Aberlour to Craigellachie and back, on the Speyside Way. It was about 5 miles, so gentle exercise, lots of fresh air and lovely surroundings. The river, the woods in early autumn etc.
In the afternoon I set off in the car to visit a cousin in Findhorn. I did not know if he would be there, but he was, so we had a coffee (me) and drink (him) outside by the sea. He knows everyone who lives in the village, so we had a procession of people joining us for a wee gossip.
For me it was almost overwhelming after 6 months of such social isolation. Fun, of course.
The Blip is the Telford designed bridge over the Spey at Craigellachie.
The Extra is Distillery of the Day. I was standing downwind. The aroma was wonderful.
