Glimmer

Another day in the office, another quiet day for the queueing areas outside classes....the place is like a ghost town.
V really worried about being holed up at home again but others virtually packing their bags to dash out the door as we listened to the FM’s parliamentary announcement of tightened restrictions. Hard to feel anything other than depressed, although clinging to the fact that I will still be allowed to visit another household as otherwise I’d really struggle...planned to go south this weekend as it’s Mt&H’s last weekend in their house before moving to London and I’d promised to look after the children for them whilst they packed.
Met K&D at the Tanjore and we had a delicious South Indian supper which they both loved. Nice chat to the owner about her struggles with the restrictions and reduction in the business since March....do hope they don’t end up closed as the food is so good.
Home and watched the -contrasting- PM and FM announcements on TV before relaxing into Bake Off. Judging by twitter traffic it lifted the nation’s mood (very much required!)
