Dusk Diptych

Standing at the kitchen sink this evening, I was suddenly aware of a change in the light outside - that pre-rain vivid glow to the sky. Dropped everything, shoes on, grabbed camera, and ran down the road. Both ends of a huge, high rainbow dipped into the sea, while the facing sky swirled in shades of orange. I even caught hazy sight of the slim sliver of moon as it quivered in and out of cloud.

Have opted for a diptych for tonight's blip, so that you can cast your eyes across the sky as I did, and see it darkening and changing rapidly as the sun set. One rainbow's end is an Extra. Thanks for looking.
