First run in Salford
Back down in Salford, this morning, and in need of some miles for #milesforrefugees, although first we made a trip up to Chorley to pick up some more bits and pieces from Wellington Street.
I haven't found the time to plan any running routes around the new house but as we drove back the Minx suggested that once we'd unloaded, I could get changed and then we could drive back and she'd drop me off on the A6 so that I could run home.
So that's precisely what we did! Well, in fact, where she dropped me off is still technically the A580 but, anyway, it was - superficially, at least - a straightforward enough route back. It did transpire that there was unavoidable diversion from my intended route but in the end it was fine and I got in the miles I needed.
In the afternoon, I popped into the School of Electronic Music for some studio time. The lack of available distractions is so useful to a procrastinator like me and in the end I put together half a dozen drum loops, one of which I was particularly pleased with.
