A wet day was forecast so I planned lots of things for indoors. I started with a laptop session and looked at the photos I’d posted from my phone in recent days. Very disappointed with the quality of a few when viewed larger so I’ll probably re-edit and replace them. 

Then into my housework clothes, cleaned the grill, the bathroom and more. I was outside twice in the morning, to put the wheelie bin at the roadside and bring it back. There was no rain. 

I decided to have an afternoon walk . . . a two mile circuit from home. There was a bit of sunshine. This was the view at the time . . . looking towards Rydal with Loughrigg Fell on the left of the photo and Nab Scar on the right. 

About half an hour after arriving back home I looked outside and watched as the rain came down.
