Rudi
Back home today after a two day trip to the big smoke. I managed to attend a coffee meeting of the Leica group this morning. As always there was a collection of unfamiliar old and familiar new photographic stuff. Here is Rudi casting an eye over an old Voigtlander Vitessa, a rangefinder made in the 1950s. Rudi looks uncharacteristically serious in this shot. An odd feature of this camera is that "smoke-stack" on the top - it is a plunger wind on for the film. The photo was taken with an old Leitz Summitar 50mm wide open at f2. Check out the weird donut ovals in the out of focus highlights.
