Stratford

The tree  men came this morning to trim back next door's conifers that hang over our garden and give our quince tree a haircut.  They did a good job in spite of the hurricane (well not quite) that's been buffeting us all day.

After lunch we drove into Stratford, parked in Old Town and took a walk by the river.  There were quite a few people around, I think we managed to avoid most of them.  There was an outdoor Shakespeare performance on The Dell, we didn't linger to listen, though a few brave souls were sitting on the damp grass watching them.

We made it to the canal basin with me taking pics along the way.  I'm sure I've bipped something similar to this in the past but the name of one of the barges caught my eye and I couldn't resist it!
