Water Lilies

I drove Margaret to the opticians this morning she needed eye drops in for her appt. I walked around Wigan town centre and spent rather a long time in Waterstones waiting for her. I drove us to the outskirts of Haigh (Hay) Hall which is owned by Wigan Council. We sat on our chairs and had our picnic then had a fabulous walk through the woods around the hall. We walked almost 6 miles. What a lovely place ruined in part by a company that tried to make the hall into a tacky hotel . More information on Haigh Hall if you are interested. Was tired when I got home so will go food shopping early tomorrow morning.
