Cosy up with Cathy 7.

This is roughly the contents of our bathroom cabinet. I couldn’t photo all the shelves.
When we were young it was full of lovely things like bubble bath and extravagant soaps. False eyelashes and gorgeous nail varnish were the norm. Coloured glitter hairspray and gels to give you spiky hair at parties.
Skip forward 30 years. The contents have changed to indigestion pills which you absolutely can’t live without. Sprays for athletes foot. The hair gels have been replaced by gels for menopausal spots. Creams to soften elbows and knees that have gone dry. Potions that promise youthful looks and tubes of paste to whiten teeth.
Skip forward another 20 years. The gels will have been replaced by tubes of adhesive for false teeth. Ramekin dishes are used for their real purpose (not those delicious little puddings full of sugar which made your teeth fall out), they house the false teeth which soak in the steradent which sneaked into the cupboard when you weren’t looking.
Creams are for piles rather than youthful looks and finally there will be those handy little bottles you need for the Drs.
Ah life, it’s good really.
Sweet dreams.
