Surviving the avalanche!
This snow fell off our roof much to Dileas non amusement as he was just about to walk there. Even with all the weight on top of it this little hellebore proudly survives! Our walk was wet and slushy underfoot and there was much flooding from snow meltwateerr on all the fields and paths. Happy Valentines Day. A lovely new top and hat and some speciality Tea with a lovely new mug makes me a happy bunny. Eoghan always gives me a beautiful card. Not a valentines one just a really nicely chosen one with something sweet written inside. He didn't fail this year! Awwww. I made his card and home made dark chocolate hearts with cranberries and cashews. One of the great products of cutting out hearts is all the little bits left between the shapes! Yum He also got Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy on DVD so that's Saturday evening taken care of! Tonight's dinner is the truly excellent valentines meal for two from Marks and Sparks. Tandoori prawns, sea bass with chilli butter and steamed veg , salted caramel profiteroles ,and bottle of cava. They even throw in a box of chocolate hearts!! All for £20. You couldn't buy the ingredients for that! And not a bit of horse in sight.
