Day 187 Pale and interesting II

Last week I posted a picture of the sole flower that had opened in my bunches of gladioli and it was pale yellow.  As the week went on the other flowers gradually opened to reveal that the second bunch were pale pink and these are pictured today.  Unfortunately the yellow ones have now died, so there has never been a decent display.
This afternoon daughter #1 and I fetched Violet from school and this evening we all had a takeaway and played a sort of guessing game which had us all howling with laughter at times: a rather rare occurrence these days.
In extras, my alternative flower, briefly sitting still, wearing the 'flapper' dress that she wore to her mummy's Gatsby themed birthday party nearly a year ago.  A year on and there certainly won't be any large birthday celebrations permitted this time round.
