Nearly dinner time
Peggy Sue has taken to lying in the middle of the hallway rug to draw our attention to the fact that she urgently requires feeding. By plonking herself there, she is assured that we will see her and cannot leave the house without stepping over her. Because there are three of us who replenish the feeding bowl, she is able to get extra meals. Rather than have a couple of meals a day, we reckon she now has early breakfast, breakfast, brunch, lunch, tiffin, tea, dinner and supper! We are thinking of installing a chalk board so that we can record when she has been fed and we have taken to serving just small portions so that her grazing habits don't lead to excessive weight gain.
In other news: no significant news today. We keep our cars reasonably well filled with fuel so did not need to join the monstrous queues that have sprung up at all the open fuel stations. Mr MC umpired his first hockey game of the season where daughters #1 and #2, went to the home ground club to watch, accompanied by the flower fairies. The daughters are seasoned spectators but this was a first for the little ones.
