Aunty & Uncle

Day 187 of COVID-19 UK opening up and partial locking down again!

My uncle John (my mums brother) had the news last week that the tumour in his neck he had removed 12 years ago has returned and is inoperable. They don't know how long he has left but it's from a few weeks to a few months.

We visited them this morning and left this evening and had an enjoyable day. My uncle has a tremendous sense of humour and enjoys a good chat and banter so the time went quick.  He gets tired quick, so whist he had a doze, Mrs BB, my aunty Terri and I had a walk for an hour around the village. My Aunty has her own problems with Parkinsons. The extra shows them at Rode Village war memorial where we sat in the sun for a while.

The last extra is sunset near Bradford on Avon as we travelled home after dropping off a birthday present to granddaughter Isabella in Frome......a beautiful sunset tonight.

We've arranged to collect my aunty and uncle next month to show them our new home. They can't stay the night as my uncle can't walk stairs and is nearly blind.
