SCOUT: Always Alert

In this Blip, Scout is looking toward the slope behind our yard.
It is open space where I have heard coyotes in the night,  I have seen quail scurrying in the low shrubs, & hawks nesting in the tall pine trees.  

Scout has probably seen much more, which causes her to be so alert here, just as she is on our walks in the neighborhood.  At night she sometimes  raises the alarm at a strange sound, while Angus sleeps on.   

Scout is always alert.
