Roast duck and pickled blackberries

Today we went to The Yard in Chester for an evening meal.  We are concerned about increased lockdown in this area.  

Really nice Modern Italian restaurant; and I had the 'Anatra mele e more' - roast duck with apple and picked blackberries.  It was presented so nicely that it deserved a photograph.  It also tasted as nice as it looked.

Chester has been good for a 'socially distanced' holiday; the city centre was busy on Saturday, so we focused on the walls and the canals around the north.  We have saved the cathedral and the river for other days.

Everybody has been really friendly!!
