En plein air

 Both sets of grandparents  travelled from opposite directions to  rendezvous  with their granddaughter and her parents on the coast of  Glamorgan.  We  shared a picnic on a boulder until the tide threatened to  lap around our ankles. It was a bright and beautiful day,  and all the more important because Cardiff's lockdown started 6.30pm and who knows when we will see them all again?
