Paused Shielding - Day 60
The Mount Vernon Garden, American Museum, Bath - a replica of George Washington’s garden at Mount Vernon.
The last dry, sunny day for a while so a trip up to The American Museum Gardens on the edge of Bath, housed in Claverton Manor, overlooking the Limpley Stoke Valley and River Avon.
After a stroll around the gardens, testing out various sunny benches, it was time for lunch on the terrace with the most beautiful view, before a quick visit to the current exhibition “Night & Day: 1930s Fashion and Photographs”, and finally a spot of Christmas shopping!
Back home, I had just enough time to whip up a batch of Viennese Fingers to go with the other two varieties of biscuits baked earlier in the week, all ready for GBBO’s Biscuit Week.
Having now eaten a vast amount of biccies, I’m drifting into a carbs coma and can’t decide on just one blip, so dozens of extras for you to choose your favourite, if you have the time.
Take care, stay safe and well...
