Books!
We're nurturing a lovely of reading, a good thing. The youngest came home with a new book that was a gift from school and a new library book, and a reading book, the eldest 'just had two reading books. They both got books out in the car and made up stories all the way home.
Our reading idyll was broken by the eldest falling over as he got out of the car and managed to graze both hands and both knees. The youngest had fallen over just before I collected him and grazed his chin. My house now smells of tcp....
I seemed to get plenty of work done, although it sometimes feels never-ending. T
Had a lunch time run and then gave up on work in favour of cleaning the house before collecting the boys. Told myself I'd get some more work done this evening, I watched bake-off instead (love that they have made it work, need a bit of normailty).
Today I'm grateful for
Beautiful story telling from the eldest, ita a delight listening to him making up amazing tales
Lunch time run, just what was needed and loved it
An almost clean and tidy house..
