Eleven

The boss decided that she wants butter chicken for dinner tonight. No problem, it only takes eleven ingredients. 
Oops, sorry, 12, I have no cloves.
I wonder, why is it called butter chicken when there's hardly any butter in it?
A question that baffles science?
