These, perfectly functional, steps used to lead from Castle Hill Rd. down to Southend Rd. car park. Now, if they still functioned, they'd lead down to a park for, maybe a dozen cars which seem to be either for offices or newly sprung up domestic properties. The really funny bit is that, as we are supposed to be pulling out financial horns in, they chose to block them off and build a new set about 10-20 yds nearer town. DUH?!?!?
