Crumpled

Early morning grocery pick up at Tadcaster - I was there before the van with the stuff in! Only by a couple of minutes though…

A shortish walk (5K steps) then over to the studio to wait in for a delivery whilst Mrs madwill went out for an appointment for an hour or so. Stayed there for lunch and helped pack up some fabric.

Back home and spoke to my mum for her birthday - unfortunately she has been ill and is not able to get out for the day as planned.

Went out on a longer walk later (10K steps) .. trying to get some steps in before Storm Alex brings rain tomorrow!

Found this rather crumpled poppy in a field of turnips...quite pleased how the detail in the petals have been caught. I deliberately under exposed it to see if this would help.

Not a bad month considering the loss of Finlay - and my average steps per day needed to complete 2000 miles by year end is now down to 11,800
