Chiffchaff!

Today is my granddaughter's fourth birthday.  Due to the virus I couldn't be there but I watched her open her presents on FaceTime this morning.  We're meeting up half way between our houses next weekend so I'll see her in person then and she can have a second birthday!

It has poured with rain all day so not a weather for outside activities.  As I was looking out of the kitchen window I saw a bird behaving differently to the usual garden visitors.  It was a chiffchaff!  I assume that it is a youngster as most of them have flown back to Africa although I have heard an occasional call during the past few days.
