Taste the difference
A day that didn't go quite as planned!
Had hoped to finish off some admin., then walk up to the Common in the afternoon. But there's a weather warning for tomorrow for very heavy rain all day, and MrM needed to repair the workshop roof for the umpteenth time before then, and he needed a gofer - to hold the ladder occasionally, and fetch and carry as required. Guess who? So no walk, and the admin. is still undone. But I did spend a productive and quite enjoyable few hours working in the 'yard, where I could hear him beckoning from the rooftop.
No nice landscape or wildlife photo, but an EB instead! MrM was given two bottles of whisky for his birthday, coincidentally slightly different sorts of the same brand produced in Skye. Each came in a nice box. One has photos of a 'calm' landscape, in pastel blues, with the sea like a millpond. The other shows a much wilder aspect, with rough seas and waves crashing on to the rocks. I suspect that there will be a whisky tasting one day soon to find out if the two whiskies differ in character.
