Elliott clock

The platform escapement I blipped last night comes from this rather fine Elliott clock in a lovely walnut case. I have had to work today so as to be caught up in time for quite a few jobs coming in this week. I need to keep on top of things so everything is done when I leave again. Anyway, it was good to have something to do on my last day of quarantine. Hurray! After these jobs, I settled down to finish my reading of Bridges of Madison County. I’ve seen the film with Clint Eastwood twice and wanted to see if the book was as powerful and it is.
